Hello, I’m Joseph Puhy, but everybody calls me Puhy. Thanks for the interest in my photography. A little about me… I’m the son of a Creative Director from the Midwest that’s called LA home for the last 20 years. I'm easy going, thoughtful and engaging. I thrive on collaboration to get the most out of a shoot, it gets the best results. If not on location or in the studio, you’ll find me playing hockey, riding dirt bikes, or tackling home improvement projects.

I’ve been in the photography industry over 25 years and have shot for all types of clients, brands, celebrities, and magazines. I'm now bringing that experience to the headshot industry. After years of casting for advertising clients I know what works and what doesn't. I have refined the process to make it easy and fun.

Headshots are advertising for your personal brand. I choose lighting and lensing specific to your look that will enhance your presence. Then we work together bringing out expressions that support your brand and character. Finally, I personally retouch each select at 100% detail and high end quality. No quick fix cheesy filters.
